AFC Telford United are in the first round of the FA Trophy after a professional performance at Blue Square North rivals Gainsborough Trinity.
Striker Danny Carey-Bertram put the Bucks ahead 10 minutes before the break from a Carl Rodgers left-wing cross.
The win was sealed in second-half injury-time as Terry Fearns blasted a half-volley from the edge of the area.
The blank means Trinity have now failed to score a goal in their last four league and cup games.
Telford assistant boss Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"It was important we bounced back with a win. This is a trophy we can go far in."

"It's important to get the first goal but at the moment we can't seem to work the opposition goalkeeper.
"Our forwards need to believe in themselves a little more, and when they get half-chances they have to hit the target.
"We haven't scored for four matches. We have been actively trying to get a striker and we will continue to try to do that."
