Taylor's contract with Boston runs until the end of the season
Pressure is mounting on Boston United manager Tommy Taylor after a 2-0 home defeat by North Ferriby United in the Unibond Premier Division on Saturday.
The Pilgrims have taken only one point from their last six games, and have slipped into the bottom four.
Andy Jackson's long-range strike put North Ferriby ahead after 25 minutes.
After the break Stewart Talbot hit the bar for Boston before Colin Hunter's 80th-minute goal sparked home fan chants of "we want Taylor out".
Boston United have not won at York Street in the league since the opening day of the season.
In the Unibond First Division South, Grantham Town were beaten 2-1 at the Meres by Willenhall Town, with Ben Garrick scoring for the Gingerbreads, while Phil Stebbing's late equaliser earned Stamford a 2-2 draw at home to Sheffield FC after Shaun Pearson had given the Daniels an early lead.
Martin Wormall was on target for Spalding United as they drew 1-1 with Gresley Rovers, and Lincoln United lost 1-0 at home to Quorn.
In the FA Vase second round, Blackstones beat Dunkirk 2-0, while Holbeach United won 2-1 after extra time at Raunds. Boston Town went out, however, following a 2-1 defeat at home to Cogenhoe.
