Grays claimed their first league win in seven games with victory over Oxford.

The home side went ahead in the 43rd minute when Barry Cogan broke down the right and played in Scott Forrester, who shot into the bottom corner.

Forrester and Cogan both had chances to extend the lead as Grays continued to hold the upper hand over Oxford.

Sam Sloma made it two late on when he mis-hit a shot from 18 yards out after good work from Ishmael Welsh and U's keeper Billy Turley fumbled it in.
