Neil Barrett's injury-time goal ended Ebbsfleet's run of five straight defeats with a narrow win over Barrow.
The midfielder spurned a fine chance late in the first half when connecting weakly with a header from six yards.
Luke Moore came close for the hosts in the second half but his firmly-struck 18-yard shot was well read and well saved by Barrow goalkeeper Tim Deasy.
And with the game heading for a draw Barrett volleyed home Sasha Opinel's cross for a much-needed win.
