Johnson Hippolyte hopes his Maidenhead side can pick up three points on Saturday to atone for their first round FA Cup exit.
The Magpies slipped to a 2-1 defeat away at Bashley and Hippolyte feels the players owe it to the club's fans to beat Dorchester Town.
He told BBC Radio Berkshire: "I think the players want to bounce back and give the supporters an apology."
Dorchester are 12 points behind Maidenhead in the Blue Square South.
But Hippolyte added: "They beat Newport in the FA Cup on Wednesday, so their confidence will be up.
"We're at home, so we're looking to get the three points we need to keep us in and around the top six, but we know in this league there are no easy games."
The Magpies are without Gavin James (rib), Ben Surey (knee) and Lee Newman (hamstring), and their problems worsened when Grant Cooper was taken to hospital after suffering a dislocated shoulder in training.
