Kidderminster dropped what could prove to be two crucial points after Ryan Brown's 80th-minute equaliser salvaged a draw for bottom side Northwich.
Brian Smikle opened the scoring when he tapped home Martin Brittain's cross from close range.
Darryl Knights almost made it 2-0 when he hit the bar for Harriers.
But it was left to Brown to rescue a point for the hosts with a great finish into the top corner with only 10 minutes remaining.
