Burton missed out on the chance to go level on points with Crawley at the top of the Blue Square Premier league as they were held away at Barrow.

The visitors dominated possession but the hosts had more chances, with Lee Hunt heading wide and Mark Boyd seeing a shot well saved by Saul Deeney.

Greg Pearson and Shaun Harrad both had efforts saved by Barrow's on-loan keeper Alan Martin after the break.

But neither side could find the breakthrough, leaving Burton fourth.
