Struggling Woking earned three welcome points at home against high-flying Salisbury thanks to Liam Marum's goal.
In an ill-tempered game which saw 10 bookings, Marum threatened first, his shot well saved by James Bittner.
Wayne Turk's speculative 12-yard shot flew past the post for Salisbury, before Guiseppe Sole picked out Marum and he rifled the home team in front.
The visitors pushed for an equaliser, but Woking managed to hold on and record an unlikely victory.
