York 1-1 Salisbury

Daniel McBreen's late strike saw York deny Salisbury maximum points.

Debutant loan signing Sean Clohessy gave the visitors the lead in spectacular fashion, blasting the ball home from 25 yards.

But York drew level five minutes from time when McBreen fired home left-footed from close range.

Charlie Griffin twice went close early on for the visitors while the fit-again Onome Sodje had a hat-trick of chances for the home side.

Salisbury boss Nick Holmes told BBC Radio Wiltshire:

"I thought the lads worked so hard with all the mishaps of injuries and changing positions, we created the better chances and I thought we were worth the three points, but unfortunately York's late goal denied us that."

"I was proud of the players, the way they put their bodies on the line at times, 10 out of 10 to them all in their attitude and with a bit more luck three points could have been ours."
