Mansfield 3-1 Eastbourne

Mansfield saw off Eastbourne to go top of the Blue Square Premier table.

Boro went close when Allan Tait's shot hit the post but the Stags took the lead soon after when Mark Stallard fired into the top corner.

Nathan Arnold made it 2-0 after finding space in the box but Eastbourne replied when Nathan Crabb met Lee Hook's long ball and coolly slotted home.

Mansfield secured the points when Matt Somner headed Michael Blackwood's corner into the roof of the net.
