Eastbourne snatched a late win against a Grays side who missed a penalty.

Grays should have taken the lead when Darren Baker brought down Stuart Thurgood, who took the spot-kick but saw it saved by keeper Lee Hook.

They paid the price when Smart latched on to a Matt Crabb free-kick and headed beyond the arms of keeper Ross Flitney in the 90th minute.

Crabb was sent off late in the game for a second bookable offence but Eastbourne held on for the win.
