Weymouth 2-0 Lewes

Weymouth saw off Lewes to maintain their strong start to the new season.

The match was delayed for 20 minutes because the Lewes coach only arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled kick-off.

Michael Malcolm had already brought a fine save from visiting keeper Rikki Banks before he latched on to Stephen Reed's pass and lashed home the opener.

Lewes, who are without a league win, hit the bar through Michael Standing after the break before Chris McPhee found the top corner to make it 2-0.
