Didcot Town manager Stuart Peace says former Oxford United midfielder Paul Powell may have played his last game for the club.
The 30-year-old recently played for Wallingford, despite Peace expecting him to begin the season at Loop Meadow.
"Paul played for us in pre-season and agreed a deal. I went on holiday and he has not been seen since," Peace told BBC Oxford.
"I've not chased him and I don't intend to," he added.
