Nathaniel Knight-Percival's last-gasp header saw Histon deny Torquay victory.

The Gulls almost went ahead on three minutes when Tim Sills' rasping shot flew wide from 20 yards and Wayne Carlisle also went close.

Torquay did go ahead when Sills scored from the spot after Craig Pope fouled Danny Stevens.

Gulls keeper Michael Poke made several fine saves and a Damien Reeves header hit the bar before Knight-Percival scored from close range late on.
