Scarborough Athletic have named Jimmy Reid as the manager of their new reserve team.
The former Tadcaster Albion and Pickering Town boss takes charge of the side at the end of June.
Scarborough's football director Tony Brown said: "Jimmy is a great acquisition for us."
The reserves will play their home games at Hutton Cranswick and the club will now work to appoint a backroom team and players for the squad.
"Jimmy's experience is second to none at our level and he'll bring us a further catchment area for talent, combining Scarborough and Hull with the York and Leeds areas which Jimmy knows well," Brown added.
"This also shows the club's future ambition to be successful and provide the best coaching at the highest possible level for the area's best young footballers."
