Former Oxford United midfielder Dave Savage has accepted a player/coaching position at Southern League Premier side Brackley Town.

Savage, who played for the Southern League side last season told BBC Oxford that he is excited by the challenge.

"I'm really looking forward to it. Anything I can do to help or pass on I will," said Savage.

"I'm not getting any younger, and it gives me a foot in the door of coaching and gives me good experience."
