Whild's side finished 13th in the Blue Square North
Redditch United manager Gary Whild has said he would prefer his team to stay in the Blue Square North.
The Reds have been moved into the South next season along with local rivals Worcester City.
Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "The obvious issue is the loss of revenue from local derbies.
"You've also got the situation with King's Lynn, who apparently wanted to go in the South anyway and they've been placed in the North."
If Redditch's move is confirmed at the Football Conference's AGM on 7 June they will lose local games against Tamworth, Nuneaton Borough, AFC Telford United, Stafford Rangers and Solihull Moors.
When you look at the teams in and around the Midlands there could be a call to have a central league

And Whild has said he has concerns that being made to switch leagues could happen again.
"When it was formed three or four seasons ago part of the reason was to sort out the problems with clubs being put in the wrong area.
"When you look at the teams in and around the Midlands there could be a call to have a central league.
"But I'm sure teams in the north and south would have their own views on that, certainly it could be thought through."
Meanwhile several Reds players have committed to the club for next season.
Liam Murray, Liam Daly and Danny Edwards have all agreed new contracts while Howard Forinton will stay with the club on a weekly deal.
