Farnborough FC have been placed in the Southern League Premier Division for the 2008/2009 season.

The British Gas South and West champions will have to travel to the likes of Merthyr Tydfil, Corby, Halesowen and Weston Super Mare.

Meanwhile new manager Francis Vines has continued bringing in new faces. Former Portsmouth goalkeeper Chris Tardif has arrived from Maidenhead United.

He joins the returning Michael Charles, Steve Laidler, and Connor Hamilton.
