Michael Byrne's second goal in as many games earned struggling Northwich a valuable point.

The hosts went ahead on 11 minutes when Richard Brodie pounced at the far post following Mark Robinson's cross.

The Vics equalised with just over a quarter of an hour remaining when Byrne controlled Ryan Brown's low cross, turned and fired in an angled shot.

Northwich came closest to finding a late winner, with Tom Evans palming a Matt Crowell curler to safety.
