Redditch United made it nine wins in 12 games after clinching a narrow Blue Square Premier win over Blyth Spartans. Reds winger Chris Murphy scored the only goal after 57 minutes in windy conditions at the Valley Stadium to push Redditch into the top half.
Reds boss Gary Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We stuck to our game plan and in the end we scored a great goal. We were worthy winners."
Spartans are 16th in the table after their second defeat in a row.
