Forest Green kept alive their play-off hopes with victory at home to Halifax.

The visitors applied to go into administration earlier in the week and Forest green piled on the misery with two goals early on.

Stuart Fleetwood slotted home the first from close range after Alex Lawless' corner was played into his path by Chris Giles.

And the midfielder netted his second just two minutes later as he coolly lobbed the on-rushing Adam Legzdins.
