Kirk Hudson scored twice to send Aldershot 13 points clear at the top.

The Shots took an early lead when Scott Davies struck from 25 yards with a low drive into the bottom corner.

Anthony Straker set up the second when he crossed for Hudson to fire home but Histon pulled one back when Antonio Murray slammed home from 18 yards.

Hudson scored his second goal moments later with a neat right-footed finish from just inside the box as Aldershot edged closer to automatic promotion.
