Whild wants a quieter afternoon against Blyth |
Redditch United manager Gary Whild says he will be happy to get back to talking about football after an incident-packed game at Southport. The match ended in a mass brawl after two Reds players were sent off.
"It overshadowed what was a good performance by us, getting a draw up there. But we've put it behind us now and must concentrate on beating Blyth.
"We are at home to a team below us and should be capable of beating them," Whild told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
Redditch have a fully fit squad for the game including Damien Markman who, Whild says, is doing well but is still not up to full fitness.
"Damien's got great pace and he puts defenders under pressure which is why we got a penalty last week.
"He's still not up to full match fitness but it's great to have him coming off the bench."
