Merritt is still optimistic about City's promotion hopes |
Oxford City manager Justin Merritt is stressing the positives of their recent performances despite losing their last two games. City lost 2-0 to promotion rivals Farnborough on Saturday but Merritt remains optimistic.
"I was pleased with the application and the performance, if we keep working hard our luck will change," he told BBC Radio Oxford.
"But it is not doom and gloom by any stretch of the imagination."
Oxford City are currently fourth in the Southern League's Division One South and West, and face Paulton Rovers at Court Place Farm on 23 February.
