Telford's Gary Fitzpatrick tackles Ashley Nicholls (Pic:Tim Hoff) |
AFC Telford United failed to win for a fifth consecutive match after goals either side of half-time secured three points for Boston. The Pilgrims took the lead in the 39th minute after Paul Ellender slotted the ball into the back of the net from Ashley Nicholls' cross.
Then Jon Stevenson broke the Bucks' offside trap at the start of the second half to double Boston's advantage.
Telford got a goal back from Lee Moore's volley in the 69th minute.
That gave the Bucks renewed hope and they went close to salvaging a point when Steve Jagielka's shot in the 90th minute narrowly went over the bar.
Despite the defeat the Bucks remain second in Blue Square North.
