Droylsden saw off Kidderminster to move off the bottom of the Blue Square Premier table and end a run of seven consecutive league defeats. The Bloods dominated for long periods, and went ahead when Jody Banim lashed a 20-yard shot past Harriers keeper Scott Bevan after 14 minutes.
Banim was then denied twice by Bevan in first-half stoppage time.
As the visitors pressed forward after the break, home keeper Paul Phillips saved well from James Constable.
