Barrow AFC have parted company with midfielders Joe Fowler and Dave Swarbrick as they look to bolster the squad during the transfer window. Managers Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan want to bring in new faces and releasing the duo was the only option.
Bayliss told the North West Evening Mail: "Joe needs first-team football and we can't guarantee him that.
"No disrespect to Dave [Swarbrick], but Matt Henney is a hard lad to take out of the team at the moment."
