Damien Markman's second-half strike was enough to earn Redditch United a 1-0 victory at Leigh RMI. After picking up no points at all during December, this was the Reds' third straight victory of the New Year.
In a scrappy game, Redditch produced the decisive moment five minutes from time when Markman netted from close range.
The win lifts Gary Whild's side up to 14th place in the Blue Square North table.
