Stuart Fleetwood's late strike sealed the points for Forest Green and ended Drolysden's fightback from two down. Fleetwood netted his second goal 12 minutes from time to secure the win.
The hosts were 2-0 up at half time after Fleetwood struck from a Paul Stonehouse pass and Droylsden's Liam Murray put through his own net.
But the visitors fought back after the break, Chris Denham volleying into the top corner and Terry Fearns heading home before Fleetwood settled it.
