| Two goals in extra-time gave Nuneaton victory over league rivals AFC Telford United in the Setanta Shield. Danny Williams gave the home side the lead on 34 minutes but early second half goals from Michael Husbands and Asa Charlton put Telford 2-1 ahead. Nuneaton substitute Brian Quailey's last minute penalty forced the game into extra-time. Quailey scored again before Jordan Stepien sealed Boro's place in the fourth round with four minutes to go.
