York caretaker manager Colin Walker extended his unbeaten start to three games with a hard-fought win over play-off hopefuls Ebbsfleet. The Minstermen took the lead through Sodje headed Martyn Woolford's cross into the bottom corner.
Sodje then turned provider five minutes after the break, setting up Woolford to double the lead with a cool finish.
Chris McPhee pulled one back for the hosts firing into the top corner from outside the area.
