Erkan Okay made one goal and scored another as Histon saw off 10-man Kidderminster Harriers. Cliff Akurang put Histon ahead, tapping in Okay's cross before the visitors had Mark Creighton sent off after half-time for scything down Daniel Wright.
Histon made it 2-0 when Okay headed in Nathaniel Knight-Percival's centre and away keeper Chris Mackenzie made some superb stops to maintain that score.
Harriers pulled one back in injury-time when Matthew Barnes-Homer fired in.
