Stevenage leapfrogged Aldershot to move into second place in the table with victory at Broadhall Way. The home side opened the scoring with an own goal, Dave Winfield deflecting a shot past 'keeper Nikki Bull.
Winfield then fouled Mitchell Cole in the box on 45 minutes, Mark Arber converting the penalty.
Craig Dobson fired home Cole's cross on 46 minutes to make it 3-0, before Rhys Day struck a consolation from the spot after Mark Molesley fouled Ben Harding.
