Neil Grayson's second-half strike earned a point for Stafford against 10-man Histon. The visitors took the lead when John Kennedy fired in a fantastic volley.
They were reduced to 10 men in the second half when Roscoe Hipperson was shown a straight red for a foul on Marco Adaggio.
Stafford equalised when Fred Murray's pinpoint cross from the right found Grayson and he finished well from 12 yards out.
