David McNiven scored twice as struggling Stafford claimed their first win of the season at Weymouth. Marco Adaggio opened the scoring from close range before McNiven's crisp finish from the edge of the area four minutes before the break.
Nick Crittenden halved the deficit with a stunning 30-yard drive into the top corner 10 minutes after the restart.
But McNiven crushed thoughts of a comeback by finding the bottom corner from 18 yards four minutes later.
