Stevenage's bid to set a new Blue Square Premier clean sheet record was ended with a defeat by Cambridge. Their hopes were ended when Mark Convery headed Cambridge ahead before Scott Rendell also nodded in to add to the visitors' lead.
Stevenage saw Stuart Lewis red-carded but quickly got over the blow as Adam Miller converted a penalty.
Oliver Allen came close as Stevenage chased an equaliser but Danny Potter produced a fine save.
