A late Jamie Mackie strike earned Exeter a point as they came from a goal behind to secure a draw. Exeter should have opened the scoring on six minutes but Mackie sent an effort over the bar when well placed.
Instead, Ebbsfleet took the lead on 36 minutes as Micheal Bostwick get on the end of Stacy Long's inswinging corner.
But Mackie made amends for a glaring miss earlier in the game by unleashing an unstoppable drive into the top-right of the goal to draw his team level.
