Jon Shaw struck a first-half brace for Halifax to help keep Northwich firmly rooted to the foot of the table. Vics player-manager Paul Warhurst flashed a header wide before Shaw drilled in Town's opener from 12 yards.
The striker then scored his second from similar range before Lewis Killeen rifled home a third from 18 yards three minutes after the break.
Michael Coulson slotted in a consolation for the visitors from an acute angle after 64 minutes.
