Halifax striker Andy Campbell struck a hat-trick as they secured their first win of the season against Droylsden. The 28-year-old hitman opened the scoring when he side-footed in Danny Forrest's pass and then he doubled the lead from Steve Torpey's assist.
Chris Wilder's side missed a string of chances to increase their lead, with Droylsden rarely threatening.
Campbell completed his treble and wrapped it up from the spot after Jody Banim fouled Tom Kearney in the box.
