Former Northwich Victoria manager Steve Burr has been appointed the new boss of Stalybridge Celtic. Burr, who is also assistant manager of the England National Game XI, parted company with the Vics on 21 May after three years in charge.
He has signed a two-year deal with the Bowers Road outfit with the aim of leading them out of Conference North, a title he won with Northwich in 2006.
Celtic had been without a manager since John Reed left at the end of April.
