Cornes has signed a one-year contract | AFC Telford United have signed midfielder Chris Cornes and striker Matty Lewis on one-year contracts. Cornes helped the Bucks achieve promotion after joining on-loan from Worcester City in March. The former Wolves trainee turned down interest from several league clubs to extend his stay at New Bucks Head. Lewis has joined from Halesowen Town where he scored 18 goals last season. The 23-year-old scored four of them against Telford in the FA Cup.
