Truro City triumph with a tremendous comeback |
Western League Truro City came from behind to beat AFC Totton 3-1 at Wembley in the final of the FA Vase. A 27,754 crowd - a record for the competition - saw Wessex League Totton take the lead through Danny Potter.
But ex-Plymouth midfielder Kevin Wills netted twice before Joe Broad scored six minutes from time to send the Vase to Cornwall for the first time.
It completed a hat-trick of Vase wins for Truro manager Dave Leonard after successes as a player with Tiverton.
