| Defender Gavin Cowan has returned to Nuneaton Borough for his third spell with the Conference North club. The 26-year-old first joined Boro on a month's loan in February 2005 and played for Shrewsbury and Kidderminster before his second loan spell this year. "He has a wonderful attitude and is a player I have been patiently waiting to sign," said Boro boss Kevin Wilkin. "Gavin wanted to play for Nuneaton and, after having two previous spells, he really holds the club in his heart."
