| Former Worcester City midfielder Sam Wedgebury has been loaned back to the club until the beginning of January by Sheffield United. The 17-year-old signed for the Premiership side's academy last January after impressing during City's FA Cup run last season. "We will have him over Christmas and into the new year," player-manager Andy Preece told the Worcester News. "That's a good signing for us and it adds to the competition for places."
