Scott Rendell's penalty early in the second half ensured Crawley took maximum points away at Kidderminster. The home side enjoyed the better first-half chances with Crawley keeper Ben Hamer saving efforts from Simon Russell and Iyseden Christie.
Town broke the deadlock early in the second half when Gavin Hurren was adjudged to have handled a Lee Blackburn shot in the penalty area.
Rendell made no mistake, slamming home the resulting spot-kick.
