Wales pipped England to the Four Nations Tournament title as they won the competition by a solitary goal. Both teams won their final games on Saturday but after finishing level on points at the top of the table Wales took the crown on goals scored.
Two goals from Les Davies and one from Chris Moore saw Wales beat Ireland 3-0.
England could not match that scoreline as goals from Justin Richards and Craig Mackail-Smith limited them to a 2-0 victory over Scotland.
