Saunders makes Folkestone switch
Former Gillingham midfielder Mark Saunders has joined Ryman Premier side Folkestone Invicta as player-coach.

The 34-year-old had to retire from full-time football last month after failing to fully recover from a double fracture of his leg in August 2004.

Saunders had reportedly been targeted by several other non-league clubs including Gravesend & Northfleet, Stevenage, Aldershot and Welling.

Boss Neil Cugley feels his experience from a spell at Tiverton will help.
