Gascoigne made a perfect start to his Kettering career |
Paul Gascoigne made a perfect start as manager of Kettering thanks to substitute Christian Moore. The former England midfielder, who took over at the Conference North side this week, saw his side edge a tense battle against their fellow high-flyers.
Moore's strike came in the 62nd minute, as he scored from close range after an inviting low cross from Wayne Diuk.
There was a brawl late on after Kettering's Neil Midgley was fouled - but Gascoigne stayed out of the melee.
