The redevelopment of Barnet's Underhill stadium is set to remain on hold following opposition from the local council. The club need extra land to upgrade the ground, but claim the council and local residents would block any plans.
Club spokesman Dennis Signy told the Bees' website: "We see no point paying another �10,000 planning fee when the council will not support our plans.
"The club would accept an upgrading of Underhill as a short term measure."
