Doncaster Rovers defender Barry Miller will not be offered a new contract when his current deal expires at the end of the current campaign. Miller, who moved to Belle Vue from Gillingham in October, 2000 following a successful loan spell with the Nationwide Conference club, hasn't played this season because of injury.
However, manager Dave Penney will invite the 27-year-old back for pre-season training in the summer when he could get the chance to earn a fresh deal.
"We have given him the option of coming back during pre-season to prove his fitness to us and to other prospective clubs," Penney told the club's official website.
"We would like to think that he can get back to the Barry Miller of past seasons."
